Highlights
So last week I mentioned I was going to the Minecraft movie. And I did. It was surprisingly fun!
I am probably their target audience, though. I've been playing Minecraft since somewhere around the beta phase and have always been chronically online, so all the jokes and references landed well for me. I'm not saying it's a good movie, but I laughed a lot during it, so that counts.
By the way, if anyone has Letterboxd feel free to add me: https://boxd.it/59gIx
Besides that, this week hasn't been very exciting. I did bake some stuff and cooked some new recipes, though.
I made banana bread from the old bananas left over at work and (finally) made Dubai Chocolate, which was a big success.
When it comes to cooking, I made a pretty nice chicken dish that my colleague suggested I try and made some Turkish Manti, which is my friend's favorite meal.
Coming Sunday I'm going to Elfia, which I'm really hyped for. The past couple of months I've been slowly putting together an outfit for the event, and I'm quite happy with the result. I'll give an update on how it was next week.
Consumed
The Wheel of Time: Up to date with this show now. I just watched the latest episode (S05E07), which wasn't very interesting to me, but that doesn't take away from how much I still enjoy this series.
Outlander: So I've been watching Outlander on and off for years now. About two years ago I finished watching season 7, part 1. and since then never really paid attention to when part 2 would release. Turns out that was around November last year, so I started catching up again. I've got to say I'm struggling a bit with remembering everything that's going on. Especially since the main characters returned to an area they spent the first couple of seasons in, which was years ago for me. But it does feel nice to see Claire and Jamie again.
Hell Let Loose: Still going...
We Were Here Together: I've been slowly going through the We Were Here games with my friend, and this week we finished playing We Were Here Together. Next up is We Were Here Forever. I think.
