Highlights
So last week on Friday I went to a Korean BBQ with my friends and to the movies afterwards which was a lot of fun. It's been a while since we did something like this and it's always been fun.
On Saturday, I took my mom and dad for a walk in Schoorl, which is a town near the coast. We took a 10-kilometer walk through the forest and dunes, which was really nice. Halfway through, we were at the beach where we had some nice lunch, and instead of walking the supposed route back, we instead opted to take the bike lane back, since we were quite worn out due to the sand paths, which were really difficult to walk through. Either way, I had a great time.
On Sunday, my mom, grandma, and I went to the musical Hadestown in Carré. I really wanted to go since the entire show is sung in English, which I love. I've gone to a few other musicals, but they had all been Dutch or translated to Dutch, which I'm not a fan of, especially musicals that are originally English (of which I know the songs in English) that are then translated. However, I had the same opinion when I went to the Dutch version of Frozen: The Musical, but still had a really good time.
Anyway, Hadestown was great. The cast was well chosen and the vocals were incredible. 10/10 recommend.
Besides those weekend activities, my week has been rather uneventful. Tonight (it's Friday), I'm going to "The Fantastic Four" with a colleague, so I'll write about that next time.
