Highlights

Last week on Sunday I went to Laufey in the Ziggo Dome with my mom. Beautiful concert. I'm a pretty big Laufey fan so seeing her in real life was really good. Her live voice is just as good as in her songs and she played plenty of songs from her new album as well as older stuff.

On Wednesday I went to the Drawclub again, and mainly spent time working on my DnD character. It's not finished yet, though, so I don't have much to show. Either way I had a good time, it was nice to sit around and chat with members again.

On Thursday I went to a cabaret show with my parents. We bought a season pass so we've been going to a bunch of try-outs over the last year. This time it was Tim Kroezen who talked about insecurities, his relationships etc. He was very left-leaning which I enjoyed.

Tonight (Friday) I'm going to the movie Hoppers with a friend so I'm looking forward to that.

This week I got influenced into wanting to go rollerskating again, which is something I in the past tended to do for maybe two times and then quit, but now that I'm much more into ice hockey I think it's nice to get some inline hockey skates and actually go out to parks or with friends to go skate.

I couple years ago I was gifted a whole bag of ice hockey gear from someone who didn't play anymore, and in there was also a pair of inline skates. Sadly they're two sizes too large but I was able to try them out with some extra thick socks.

Inline skating is actually really similar to ice skating in terms of technique, crossovers and such felt very natural. Only breaking is much different since wheels don't slide similarly to skate blades. I'll have to work on that.

In general I'd love to play an inline hockey game sometime but that's very uncommon in the Netherlands unfortunately.
