Highlights
Last week on Friday I went to a small cabaret show presented by Thjum Arts. It was pretty good, not all that funny per se, but enjoyable nonetheless.
The day after we hosted my grandma's birthday at our house, since she's in a nursing home which would be too busy. Initially she was quite upset and didn't want to come but once we convinced her, she had a pretty good time. Sometimes it's a bit hard to be around her because of her Dementia, her emotions are really all over the place and it can be hard to tell what she truly wants. And it can be difficult to hear her complain about being lonely and us never taking her anywhere, when we had taken her places just the day before but she's simply forgotten. You have to keep in mind that it's the moments that count.
On Sunday I went to West Side Story in Rotterdam with my mom and dad. If I had a penny for every time I overhear some stranger complain about how they sing too much in a MUSICAL I'd have multiple pennies which is insane. Either way it was a good musical. I wasn't too familiar with the songs so I didn't gave much of a hard time with them being translated but for once my mom struggled a bit. Welcome to my world.
The rest of the week I was off from work which I maybe enjoyed a bit more than I should. On Monday I went to the Westfield Mall with my mom where I bought some Levi's jeans (I really wanted a GOOD pair of jeans for once) and walking shoes (For my holiday to Iceland next year). It was nice going out with mom. As always.
On Wednesday I went to the hairdresser to get my hair freshly dyed and on a whim decided to walk into a nail studio to get my nails done. I've never done that before so I was a little nervous but it was a success.

Thursday I went ice skating my with friend at the Museumplein in Amsterdam. The ice was SO SHITTY I'm convinced my blades have gone dull. But either way it was fun and it was nice to do random shit with him again.

Pluribus: Oh my god. I just watched the latest episode (ep 8) and RAHHHHH give me more. I saw what happened coming from miles away but still it had me yelling "Oh my god!". Can't wait for the final episode. Dreading the wait for a new season. (5/5)

Minecraft: Been playing this casually again this week. Installed some nice shaders and the server I'm on has some good quality of life mods. Having a nice time.
